UQ Culture & Heritage Unit

The UQ Culture & Heritage Unit (UQCHU) is a commercial heritage consultancy with 30 years’ experience. The Unit works with Indigenous communities, the resources sector, developers, and all levels of government to deliver professional heritage outcomes in a timely manner. The Unit comprises specialists in archaeology, anthropology, native title, Indigenous community engagement, and built heritage and works throughout Australia.

In addition to its core staff of experienced heritage professionals, UQCHU commonly employs anthropology and archaeology RHD students on applied research projects as part of its commercial practice, equipping them with practical experience to augment their studies.
